Our goal at The Urban Cyclist is to provide you with the highest quality cycling products at the best possible prices! We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase so if, within 30 days of receiving your order, you decide it is not suitable you are welcome to send it back to us for exchange or refund. Please make sure that the product is in original condition (including its original packaging) and well packaged to avoid damage in transit. As Lekker bikes are ordered in specifically for you, we are unable to accept returns if you simply change your mind. 



Whilst all care is taken in the display of item colour, from time to time, and dependant on users technology, colours may vary slightly. If the item you receive from your online order does not match the colour expected please feel free to return or exchange the item.  



We try to stock the highest quality products available but unfortunately sometimes a product may not work as expected. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy. In the first instance we recommend that you phone us on 021 849 998 as we can hopefully offer immediate advice to resolve the problem. If we cannot easily resolve the problem then we will provide instructions for return of the item back to us.



If you need to return an item to us, click here to submit a "Return Request". Once the return has been approved at our end, we will get in touch with the delivery details so you can return the item to us.


For returns because of faulty products, or incorrect items being shipped by us, we will cover the cost of return. However if you need to return an item because you have changed your mind or made an error during the order process, we ask that you cover the cost or returning the item, either by booking the return freight yourself, or we can book it for you and deduct the cost from your refund. Please note that the actual cost of shipping is often significantly higher than the shipping charged on the website.
